Take a Selfie allows you to create a branded selfie experience that users can share on their social networks. It can be used to take a photo with a celebrity or customized backgrounds and frames.

Take a Selfie: A pre-made widget that allows you to use transparent .png to create selfie experiences with celebrities or customized backgrounds and frames.
Canvas: A contained space in Blippbuilder that holds drawing and creation elements for your blipp. Located in the center of the screen. You will use this space similar to the way a painter creates their paintings, but instead of drawing you will drag and drop elements to create a picture.
Adding Take a Selfie to your blipp
- Drag the “Take a Selfie” widget to the canvas.
- When selected the editing menu will appear on the right hand side of the screen.
- Under settings, select “Add Image.”
- Upload a transparent .png from your files. You can use this action for any asset you upload and add to the canvas (Maximum: 2000px)
- Under settings select the orientation of the transparent png, portrait or landscape.
- Here you can also select the location from top, middle or bottom.
- To see your work, select the preview button.
Adding a background image to Take A Selfie
- Select the “Take a Selfie” widget.
- When selected the editing menu will appear on the right hand side of the screen.
- Select "add Background Image" and upload your desired image.
Test using take a selfie
- After selecting preview in blippbuilder, open the Blippar app on your phone and enter the blipp code under settings.
- Blipp the trigger image in the preview section in blippbuilder.
- Click on the “Take a Selfie” widget.
Note: The text on this widget can be changed in blippbuilder during blipp creation.
- The transparent .png will load and the front facing camera will open.
- Users can take a selfie or change the camera direction.
- After a photo is taken users can download it to their image gallery or share it on social media, over text message or any other sharing method.
